NABOSO
Svätý Jur, Slovakia
NABOSO is a Slovak word for “barefoot”. We think it conveys a sense of connection to the earth, simplicity, and authenticity, reflecting the philosophy of creating natural wines in Central Europe. A hands-on, unfiltered approach to winemaking and a commitment to working closely with nature. Nadja, originally from Germany, turned her passion for wine into a way of life. After honing her craft in Austria and Copenhagen, she fell in love—with winemaking, Slovakia, and Andrej. Together, they built NABOSO in Sväty Jur, where Nadja handles sales and crafts ceramics under her brand, erdArbeit. Andrej, the heart of NABOSO’s winemaking with a simple philosophy. Natural wine yes, but at the end it needs to be a good wine…
“The wine has to be stable, without faults, drinkable, enjoyable and most importantly: We have to like it, otherwise it will not leave our cellar.”
5 a lie on a bedrock of granite with rich, sandy soils, facing south to south east. The wines are spontaneously fermented, aged in neutral oak or acacia barrels, and crafted with care—guided by gravity and the philosophy that every detail matters.
